The "Gold Freej" (Golden Neighborhood) initiative was launched in 2024 as a community extension of the "Golden Generation" initiative. It focuses on promoting a culture of sports within residential Al Fareej through community-based tournaments and athletic activities.
The initiative aims to discover grassroots talent, strengthen social cohesion, and create a healthy environment that establishes sports as a lifestyle, aligning with the General Sports Authority’s directives to support community sports and enhance quality of life. Furthermore, the initiative engages diverse community segments, encouraging youth to participate in organized sporting activities that hone their skills and foster a spirit of initiative.
